This does not relieve the contractor of responsibility should damage to utility equipment occur within the Department of Roads right of way. Weight Restrictions - Latest Update
Weight Restrictions Bulletin
In an effort to protect our roads during the spring thaw, weight restrictions are put into effect, normally in early March. Once the ground has thawed to a specific depth, usually in late March, these weight restrictions are lifted. The weight restrictions start and end dates vary due to the weather conditions.
Local Roads and Subdivisions

This department facilitates the inspection of new subdivision road construction in all townships of Macomb County. After the construction, acceptance and release processes of a subdivision road, the road and the right-of-way is dedicated to the Macomb County Department of Roads.
