Office Hours

Our business office hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm. The Permit Department will be CLOSED from noon to 1:00pm daily.

Please remember that a permit is required for all work, including landscaping, done within the county right of way. Please contact our Permit Department at (586)463-8671 with any questions or to apply for a permit.

P.S.A.

For the safety of our children, we encourage residents to keep their sidewalks clear of snow and ice so that students have a safe path to walk to and from school and bus stops. It is also helpful if parents avoid parking too close to the bus stops, as this creates an unsafe environment for students, making it difficult for motorists to see students and safely navigate corners. Ideally, vehicles should remain 40 to 100 feet from the bus stop on either side of the street.

The Macomb County Department of Roads is the road agency in Macomb County. MCDR maintains more than 1,700 miles of road with over 900 traffic signals and 60,000 signs.
